Ex 1

Photo 1: There are four people. They are playing rugby in the football field (or pitch).

Photo 3: There is a person cooking in a barbecue in a garden probably.

SAM:

His family is moving to Australia and the wants to know about Australia. What is school like? What do people do in their free time? and What sports are popular?

Three people answer:

The first person that answers is Kyle and he says that there are fantastic beaches, they are very popular with surfers because of (=por) the huge waves. He often goes surfing, plays cricket and rugby. The cricket team is over 100 years old, his grandfather and his father played in it too. Australians do a lot of sports, they go cycling and walking.

The second person is Jodi. He writes that the weather in Australia is warm and sunny. She is from Camberra and it doesn´t rain. She does a lot of activities. She goes with her friends to the sport centre, the beach or they sometime watch a film. On Sundays she has a barbecue with her family.

The third person that writes something is Tim. He writes about schools. He explains that school aren´t different. His class is big and his classmates are really friendly. His cousin Josh doesn´t live in the town. So he studies in his home, his classroom is on the internet and he goes to school once a team for a week.

EX 5 ( OPTIONAL)

The photos are about Australia. In photo 1 we can see rugby players because rugby is a very popular sport in Australia. In photo 2 there is a beach because in Australia there are fantastic beaches where people go surfing or hang out. In photo 3 there is a barbecue because a lot of people have them because the weather is very nice. Photo four is a house in the countryside because a lot of students in Australia study at home because their country is very big and they don’t live near the town.

My class is full of friendly people. My school is beautiful and there is a library and a gym. In my free time I do a lot of sports. When it is sunny my family and I have a barbecue. When the weather is rainy, I stay at home and I read or my brother and I play with board games. As (=como) the weather is usually nice, my friends and I often hang out in the park or play football in the football field.

SOPHIE has got a black hair. She is wearing a grey jumper, blue jeans and black boots.

NATHAN has got white hair. He is wearing a yellow shirt, brown trousers and black shoes. He is wearing a walking  stick.
