Energy:
The problem is fossil fuels, they run out and produce global warming.
The solution for global warming is algae. It is natural, it grows on rivers, lakes and ponds. And it doesn’t cause global warming. Also, it helps the environment because it absorbs carbon dioxide, one of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming. In the future, we will use algae as fuel instead of petrol, it will be cheaper.

Food:
The problem is that in 2050 the world’s population will be 9B people and we will need different sources of food. Another problem is the quantity of beef that we consume, because the earth´s water will run out. It takes a lot of water to produce so much (=tanta) meat, because cattle drink, the grass (that) they eat needs water and meat factories also use water.
The solution is (singular) insects. In the world, 130 countries eat insects. The reasons are the protein (that) they have and also insect farms will need less land and less water.
Insects farming is eco-friendly: 18% of greenhouse gases come (plural) from cows and other cattle but insects produce much smaller quantities.
Around the world, there are more than 2B people that love insects.

16.
This photo is about insects and the text speaks about insects as one of the future sources of food, because they contain a lot of protein and they are more eco-friendly for two reasons: they need less water and they produce less greenhouse gases than cattle.

17.
If we don’t care about the environment, it won’t exist in the future.
Unless we care about the environment, global warming will increase.

18.
If we cut down trees, we’ll run out of wood to burn.
If we reduce cattle farming, we’ll have more land for crops.
If the sea level keeps rising, some of our seaside towns won’t exist any more.
If it doesn’t rain enough, the earth will get dry.

Five health problems are the flu, a headache, toothache, a bad ankle and a stomach ache.

The nurse is in the medical room and five students come to see her because they say (that) they feel sick. The first student’s got toothache, the second student hurt his ankle, the third student’s got a cold, a cough, a sore throat and back pain /her back hurts; she thinks it’s flu. The fourth student’s got a stomach ache. So they stay in the medical room until they get better/get well.

·       Diet: If eat less meat, we will need less water to produce it.
·       Water consumption: If we have showers instead of baths, we will use less water.
·       Deforestation: If we replant some forests, it will rain more.
·       Energy consumption: If we turn off lights, computers and other electronics, we will use less electricity/pollute less.
·       Transport: If we walk instead of using the car, we will save petrol.
·       Global warming: If we use less fossil fuels, we will reduce global warming.
·       Ice melting: Unless we pollute less, the Arctic ice will continue to melt.
·       Factories: If we reduce the use of energy in factories, pollution will decrease.

25.
One of our biggest environmental problems is global warming. It comes from our diet, water consumption, deforestation, energy consumption and transport as well. The world will not exist in the future, if we don’t do something/change our habits.
There are a lot of cars on our roads, so we can go by public transport instead of going by car. This way, cars will pollute less and global warming will slow down.
We can also reduce meat consumption, so there will be less cattle and less gases in the atmosphere, too.
With small changes like these, we will help to reduce global warming.
